This happened to me as well, not entirely sure why, but it really did not worry me... I use very many - easy to load back into MSN. Maybe use a backup program such as
this one from
www.sherv.net. (If you haven't this time - I realise you are asking
why)
If you can't find one of your old emoticons try the command "/xcedpstealer" (stuffplug feature). This will most likely allow you to retrieve old emoticons.
Sorry I don’t know the exact cause of the problem. Perhaps someone else knows - I really don't feel like searching.
