I have had issues with a pioneer dvd burner.... it always said buffer overloaded <- or something similar, and i was never able to burn a dvd or cd, compaq support told me they didnt know what to do (even tho i bought it with the dvd) so i just bought a new one
Why dont u try roxio? it came preinstalled with the laptop <it came with mine>
