My status was set to away (as it had been all day), it poped up once or twice between 6-8pm (I clicked ok and it went away) then after 8pm roughly every 30 seconds a new on popped up but no more appeared after I posted about it at 8:26. (all times are GMT+10 if it helps)

I does happen when I sign in sometimes, as my computer lags up and msn dissconnects and has to reconnect, but I'm pretty sure it can't change the name then because there is no connection to the servers

Edit: my 'tag' was the same as mentioned before
