See, not trying to start an arguement here, but that's sort of stupid... I mean, it all depends on what type of person you are, and who your audience is. What to you is predictable is probably not to others. What to you is an amazing novel of things you couldn't dream of, could be a completely boring and predictable story to someone else. And age is a slight factor, but not that big of one, all depends on your intellect. You could have a 10 year old who writes a better story than a 16 year old. In writing there are no restrictions as to when you suddenly are much better, or when you aren't mentally restricted. And it still depends on audience and what type of person you are at writing.
I think it is a good story, despite it having a few mistakes.
It isn't really my type of story, yet it is still good.
