O.P. Roll Eyes  Need help finding good codec for encoding videos recorded from TV card
Hello.

I need to find a good codec that will have a good video quality, and a small size too.
I need this for the video card, so I can record videos with small size instead of 800+MB/min ^o)

I tried using vairous codecs, but none of them were good...
I tried downloading the DivX Player which has the DivX codec too inside the package, but I couldn't find it:

So, I downloaded the XviD (DivX written in the opposite order? ^o) :P) codec, which appeared on the list.
I tried configurating it, but I couldn't find any quality settings, and the filesize was still too big.

Anybody knows any codec that will allow me to encode a video (with sound) in a good quality with a small filesize?
I have seen videos that last about 55 minutes and their size is about 550 MB!

Speaking of codecs, anybody knows any codec, so I can encode my TV recordings  in MP3 format? :P

Thanks.

Note: My TV viewing program is ChrisTV.
YouTube closed-captions ripper (also allows you to download videos!)
