There are other options like DVD quality but i dont use them. So as i see it, mike you can do two things ... you can try to get PCTV or you can search for an option in the config for ChrisTV to control the quality of the vid and reduce it.

My TV card is also a Pinnacle one (dont know the model) that I lost its CD.
Windows found the driver in the internet, thats how I managed to use it.
I couldnt find the software that came with the CD (was it Pinnacle Vision?) on Pinnacle's website...
Anyway, are the files output on avi format, or mpeg format?
Because, in mpeg outputing, I can select something likle VCD quality...
