Sticking months on the release of Windows Live Messenger is even guessing as even MS isn't sure about when it will be finished. All they officially say is it will be released in the first part of 2006, hopefully around end feb/mar.
I don't know where you got that from cookie.. The last thing they told me is that the beta will become public in spring 2006 (so that'd be march-june). The final release will be a few weeks/months later I suppose...
