Ok, that last one isn't the best option, but well... Better than random...
I kinda see what you mean, but it's Patchou's decision to decide who can help test and he chooses from looking at lots of things, not just how active people are in the forums. They could already be a beta tester for other products and therefore understand the processes and work involved etc
