Actually I disagree, if we find a conflict it is a good idea for Patchou to fix and if you do find a bug e.g. a design clicth/ something not hooking right etc, uninstall the patch you are using and see if the bug still occurs. This way Patchou can make fixes instead of releasing a new version when it is offical.
As for patching the chances of effecting it is close to 0.
Anyway, back to the thread, a certain feature could cause this problem with each new version of Windows Live Messenger hex locations are changed alot and ahamd may of missing something simple
