That wont do it. The best way to 'kill' windows messenger is goto the root folder and rename it. Essentially since it cannot find it, it wont come up
There is another way to uninstall it. If you would just search on the forum, you would find it. Its quite a big solution given by Cookie Revised
The rename one does the trick. Thats what i did since i dont use windows messenger
