IIRC, from the review I read, what you do on the guitar actually affects how the song sounds. They're licensed tracks, but not the originals. I guess, unlike DDR, the satisfaction of pulling off a riff and hearing that you pulled it off well is a better feeling than 'w00t i hit 400 arrowz ina row'.

I wouldn't mind giving GH a try, though with a cooler-looking guitar. Maybe a Les Paul clone instead of yet another Strat?
