X-2 is crap. It was so close to ruining the X storyline.
I think IX is the best one then X. Never played VII, but I do know its an awesome game. VIII was crap because of all the that junctioning stuff, made it a bit complicated.
XI was quality, shame my parents stopped paying for it. But I think XI > WoW.
And about XII, I "obtained" a demo and played it. It looks amazing
