RE: is this real?
Well, surely there are people who get paid for playing games. Games need to be beta tested too, and internal testers get paid for that. But nobody will earn 80 dollar an hour or even anything close to that for just testing games.
But even if it were possible to earn that much... It's a scam site. They want you to pay $34.95 USD as registration fee. In return for that all you get is probably a crappy PDF files that might tell you a little bit about how to earn money with testing games, but it will definitely not guarantee you actually DO get a paid tester position somewhere and it will in no way help you find a job that pays you that much. If you're really interested in getting paid for playing games than contact so game developing companies directly. Send a mail to EA or any of the many others out there. But keep in mind they won't pay you for just playing games. A real paid testing job involves real testing which means you are probably not allowed to do it at home but you should come to their office... You will need to play the same level over and over again to the state where you are ready to shoot yourself out of boredom with the level... You will need to report any problem you encounter in full detail.
The scam site itself is part of many other related "How to get rich" scam sites. They all work the same:
- The scam site tells you you could get loads of money
- Scam site offers to share the secret "how to get rich" info with you
- You'll need to register before you get the "secret info"
- Registration costs money
- After registration they will give you the "secret info" which tells you nothing you didn't already know (or nothing that can't be found in public FREE places).
