In your system's temporary directory (note this is not the "Temporary Internet Files" directory; it is the directory defined by %temp% or %tmp%, usually something like "C:\Windows\Temp").
But you can't do anything with it, the file will be locked as long as it is downloading and will be deleted (moved to your "Recieved Messenger Files") once it is finished.
