O.P. PC not booting
Ok, i havnt tried tofix it yet cos i'm mega drunk, but my other pc has just died tonight and i'm just wondering what people think it might be, it could be HDD.
Ok so it was on for a few hours, and then my mate tried to use it, he moved the mouse and nothing happened (no cursor on screen). So he restarted it, and now, it gets JUST past the POST (it's set to boot from cd first so it says @press any key to boot from cd' or whatever, then it just goes to a blank screen and nothing happens.
I havn't tried to fix it, i'm gonna have a go either tomorrow or on sunday when im not hung over, it could be the hdd cos it's a mega old 40gb Samsung, but even trying to go into the bios doesnt work, it says 'Del for Setup' but it just ignores it.
I'll try fixing it when i have time, but what do you think it could be just incase i don't get it fixed?
