I fully agree. It's very confusing for people to think Plus Live hasn't still be released because the site is still like that (millions of people don't visit these forums and not many notice the small news post saying "Messenger Plus! Live is PUBLIC" (and if they do, they probably click on Download instead of in that link).

Actually, such a thing is already on the site in its own special page:

Perhaps only the help sections should be kept alive (features perhaps?) linked from msgpluslive.net/download/old/, with the others (www.msgplus.net/download.php, etc.) redirecting to msgpluslive.net. Nobody will want old banners, or old merchandise, I guess
