It's not easy to convert people to WLM. I have tried to do so with 3 close friends. These are the results:

[*]Upgraded without an issue. I told him about it and he was happy to accept it.
[*]Couldn't be bothered at first, eventually gave in only to find that he is not allowed to upgrade.
[*]Said that it wasn't worth it. Even suspected that it was unreliable. Eventually gave in and installed WLM and Plus! Live (since he has been a plus user for quite a while).

This is evidence of things not being as easy as they seem.
One more person asked me about the software. I said it was a good idea but she wasn't confident enough to make such a change (it really seems like a daunting change, people would have been much less hesitant to upgrade to a "MSN Messenger 8").
