I think you want to have Windows Live Messenger and MSN Messenger 7.5 with Messenger Plus! install for both messengers.
To do this you should uninstall WLM, MSN Messenger, Messenger Plus!*, and Messenger Plus! Live* just to make sure everything goes smoothly.

[*]Install Windows Live Messenger
[*]Install Messenger Plus! Live
[*]Rename the Windows Live Folder (in this case c:/Program Files/
MSN Messenger) to Windows Live Messenger (anything you want really)
[*]Install MSN Messenger
[*]Install Messenger Plus!
