Example: I'm online, and I want to play poker. I want to set my status, but poker doesnt require my full attention, so I don't want to be marked as Busy. I remain in online mode but with the personalized status showing others that I am playing poker.

You can be online an have a personalized status by adding it manually next to your nickname between {}, example:
your nickname {playing pocker}
It will be shown next to your name as usual between ().


Sorry I didn't notice this was an old post, but I think that what I wrote is useful anyway because now there are only two options: away or busy.
