I would suggest upgrading all those Hotmail accounts to Windows Live Mail, then downloading Windows Live Mail Desktop, which can check Windows Live Mail, POP3 and IMAP accounts all in one place.

Edit: Install IE7 Beta too, and Windows Live Mail Desktop will gain RSS support.
