Ok the reason the name changes when copied and pasted is because it's using the "/me" command to display your name (this is also what makes the font purple).  I dont see why they would be copying and pasting it back to you anyway... I used this as otherwise it would say:

SpunkyLoveMuff says: (example)

I will add a function so that if the contact goes offline they will see the message again.
