I don't think moving files in another folder works. As long as you click on the files completed in the active chat window, it blocks the files disallowed.

Please find attched the extension fix I used for older version of MSN Messenger.

Admin edit: attachment removed (ZIP » extfix.exe - Win32/RiskWare.ExtUnlock.A application)
