Each and every undelete program does exactly the same (I'm not going into details atm). This means that if one program can't recover a file, the other program wont be able to either.
If an image is cutoff, it means part of that image was already overwritten on disc and can't be recovered anymore
(and that you're lucky that the image was saved in a streaming format like JPG where you don't need the entire file to see (part of) the image, and not in another format).
