I had the same problem.:)

On the E-mail Client field, just put:

"C:\Archivos de programa\Internet Explorer\IEXPLORE.exe" http://mail.google.com

Yes, the path (including the quotes) AND the URL.

Now, it will just open the gmail site, and will ask you for your password... but it's better than nothing anyways :)
