you dont have to lose ur bookmarks just go to ur C:\Documents and Settings\User Account\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\uo0xefrh.default\bookmarkbackups an get you bookmarks.html file from there, before making a New Profile, , if you remember all your Extensions you have just reinstall them into the new Profile an Themes
to Make a New Profile in Firefox go to
Start - Run - An Type in Firefox.exe -profilemanager an Hit OK or Enter
