are you running, by any chance, a modified version of Messenger? Or are you running any other addons/patches?
I see you have some patch program in that folder, and an ini file, which both don't belong originally to Messenger.
Also, and this is far fetched, but try to run the Plus! installer from its original file name, not a renamed one...
Other than all this, Patchou himself is indeed the one who needs to answer this I assume
(Matty is correct, no 8005 error code in the setup -hardcoded that is-).
