OK if I'm understanding this right, you are asking if you can add custom names in Messenger Plus! Live. Well firstly they have been removed from Messenger Plus! Live as Windows Live Messenger (Right Click on Contact -> Add A Nickname) now has that feature. As for getting custom names from Plus!3 and putting it into Windows Live Messenger...not possible (unless of course there is a smarty pants who is better than CookieRevised
). As for it every coming back, Patchou has said it MAY only come back if Mircosoft does NOT develop that feature any further. No if's not but's no nothing. Full stop, end of story, case closed.
