Nice script, just one thing:
I have white as my default WLM color, so every new note appears as a white one with white text, making it unreadable. If I change the color everything is fine.
maybe you should
add a default color (which can be changed in prefs ofcourse) or change the text color if the chosen color is too light.
apart from that, great script!

edit: Oooh just found out that the white color makes half of the options window unreadable too... that's also why I missed the default color part
