The debugger tells you exactly what is wrong.

You need to add another bracket

code:
OverwriteFile("defwelcomemsg.txt", PlusWnd.GetControlText("EdtWelcomeMSg"));
OverwriteFile("defgoodbyemsg.txt", PlusWnd.GetControlText("EdtGoodbyeMsg"));
