RE: Migraines and Headaches
I too suffer from migraines from time to time. What i do is as soon as i feel it's getting a bit more than a headache (but its still an acceptable headache) is take a good strong painkiller and rest for a bit (if possible). Once it's progressed to a migraine there's nothing you can do (exept maybe with prescribed meds, regular painkillers will only make you vomit at that point) but lay down, place a wet cold cloth over your forehead and eyes and try to sleep it off.
Try and avoid stress as much as possible as this is a big migraine trigger. Some foods also trigger these...like chocolate, nuts and dairy products (cheese does for me in times that i'm vulnarable to em) so don't eat those when you have an upcomming headache.
If migraines occur often/frequently go see your doctor.
