This only happens in multi-convos as far as I know. It is caused by some l4mer typing a sequence of characters into the window that for some stupid reason causes everyone to be booted out..
If you go to a multiconvo and type .pif into it this will kick everyone out. I, however, now know that Microsoft have fixed this problem and when you type it it will only kick you out.
