Delete entry should be for the specific purpose - deleting it from the Add/Remove programs list. I haven't used it in a while, I guess I should have tested it myself.
Anyway, Microsoft has a KB article on it
here, which is the same method as Matty posted but with more detailed instructions. If you don't want to mess with the registry, I did find
a small, free program which seems to do just what you want.
