Proxies never seem to work for me.
I'm trying to get around the rapidshare 'You have downloaded too many files' message. I've
tried numerous things (like ipconfig /flushdns, etc.) but no success. I've downloaded some programs (Tor, Privoxy) but they don't do anything. Note:
Bookmarklets do not work for this situation.
Soo.. back to the problem. I have
SwitchProxy Firefox extention. Any proxy I try and add just never works. It's simple enough, you click Add on the toolbar, then anonymous, then load a list of proxies.

So once I apply the proxies (see the toolbar in screenshot below), I just get 'The connection has times out' or 'Page not found' or 'Server not found'.

I don't think it's something I'm doing wrong (tell me if I'm wrong), I think proxies just don't seem to work for some reason?? Any idea why?
