i made a boot windows xp home editon cd works but when installing it give me a message asking for windows xp cd (i dont have one(()))

cannot find a previous version of windows installed||||and then on the botton say dont qualify for upgrade!
I was trying to install vista but it didnt work so when i try to go back to winXP i COULDNT i think i erase eveything!!! pls help...
