I'm getting this too, and I haven't found a complete fix. I think the reason why WLM is doing this is because it's loading everything up (Contact list, people's display pictures/updates, contact cards, etc). I'm not sure when this will get fixed, but a few members of the dev team
said that there would be a update last week but noone has seen it yet. They're probably waiting until the release of Windows Live 2.0
