shortcuts.
stuartbennett, how long did your problem last? 1 week?, 1 day?, or simply 1-2 minute?
And you said "Colours miraluously had come back". Did it come while Messenger was working, or had you Exited, re-run it before colours came?
And why are you so interested in this temporary bug? Just celebrate that colors are back 
These are computers, they do whatever they want, don't bother to find out everything they did.
