Go into the Plus! menu and then click on Preferences
Click the messenger tab at the top
Click Messenger Lock on the left
Click on the little icon that you want to change and in the box that comes up replace the text with "C:\Program Files\Windows Live\Messenger\msgsres.dll,683"

That is assuming that is the path to your messenger directory
