O.P. code error 80072EFE
Hi
I have been unable to update windows security on my new dell computer (with vista)receiving the above code error.
I have been through many steps including disabling the routers firewall, the windows firewall, adding microsoft sites to trusted sites, and checking lots of settings and generally faffing about for ages.
What is strange to me is that the only other site I cant access is the "epson" site. I have downloaded printer drivers for my epson printer but cant access the website although otherwise the internet seems to be working well. I cant access it on a laptop either.
To me (inexperienced) I think it suggests there may be a router problem.
Does this mean anything to anybody out there?
Am i likely to be able to fix this myself?
Any advice would be great!
