O.P. Mess.be reporting WL wave 2 final on 7th november. WTF!? = More anger at MS
I'm furious at Microsoft now, if this is true then how the fuck do they support this, beta 2 wasn't compatible with 64bit operating system's, there's been no beta 3 to correct this how the fuck do Microsoft expect to release final to public without full private beta testing experience.
Everyday I feel like switching over to Mac OS X more and more because of Microsoft's absolutely poor development cycles.
Why the hell even have a beta testing period if they're not going to utilise us, or listen and work out our reported bugs, suggestions and other issues.
Beta 1 got leaked (nothing can stop that I know) and had lots of installation issues etc most in connect were 'solved' by non re-producible, will not fix, by design or duplicate request, some bugs claiming to be resolved in Beta 2 were not such as the WLmail not associating itself with mailto: commands, and rendering itself unable to launch at all without editing the registry via subinacl and a .cmd.
Beta 2 was public release and incompatible with 64 bit OS's (whereas beta 1 was) also there were lots of issues with Windows Live Photo Gallery (still are) that are 'active' on connect, I've never been able to use it on a 64bit OS for instance.
Why are Microsoft taking such a shitty approach to this?
I know I'm not the only one to feel this way about Microsoft's recent activities and testing (hell a bug posted by our very own sunshine is #1 on connect at the moment and it's still active and un-resolved, it's to do with Microsoft update system of moment which seems to be causing more and more problems each month more recently with WSUS installing desktop search tools without approval by admins)
So Main ramble over.
Question really is;
What the fuck is Microsoft playing at?
It's no wonder they're getting so much bad press at the moment!
