If you make a program in Visual Basic and run it on Windows 98, it will look "98-ish"; the same for Windows XP (I think you need to make a manifest file though). The caption buttons and other things (I would imaging are drawn by Windows itself using it's own internally stuffs
Yep, thats true. It's Windows itself that creates the (usually) creates the title bar, close, minimize, maximize and restore buttons based on the current Windows theme. You don't need to create a manifest file though (at least i never have)
