You forgot to mention file transfers don't work and it fails to follow the MSNP guidelines for fonts thereby resulting in some rather ugly non anti-aliased fonts on the screens of your non-adium contacts
Plus' override contacts' font feature obviously solves the latter problem
Better than nothing I suppose
Personal sidenote: fortunately Val is an awesome person so I can overlook this
