Atleast there should be an option to allow me to set it to defrag once a day/week or month. I don't see the need for hourly defrags. And its this type of behavior which make M$ unpopular. Have u seen the lag that autosave creates on Xcel2007 when you are working with spreadsheets from prior version of Xcel? Worse if they have any VBA in the background. Outl00k 07 is the same...
I dual boot with linux on this PC and its just a lot of fun working with linux but since I do M$ platform support and dev...
If you really find it that bad then just transfer to a multi-protocol [i think thats wot they r called] client like Pidgin, if you like Messenger then you will have to put up with it because i dont think you can do anything about it
