The only thing is that i don't think anyone will code it as it looks like it will be alot of code (might not be as i'm just guessing).
An idea i had was to remake the chat log viewer and make it look like a msn/windows live messenger box instead.(but you don't see it happing you just see it all there at once with a windows live messenger convo as a window ect ect)

-Load File
-Run timers depending on timestamps
-Print in window
and for the second suggestionm I actually made it using php, I uploaded the interface and included the chat file inside the window, but still didn't do the "Player" part of it.
