Hello,
Unfortunately since most patcher software which exists for Windows Live Messenger involves modification of Messenger's user interface files, most are unlikely to work with skins which also modify these files.
The only patching options which you have are those provided with the skin itself (check the Skin's Options), or if you know a bit about skinning you can modify the skin to remove/add certain elements.
