My new laptop has a glossy screen and it's AWESOME!!! No matter which way you look at it it's just sooooo cool. Especially when you're looking at it from an angle.
So go with the glossy.
EDIT: Oh I didn't see what you would be using it for. In that case the actual shape of the glossy screen isn't exactly what you'd want with programming and all that. So I'd go with the regular in that case. The glossy one just feels big fat and bloated, not really what you want when you're playing a game.
