If you want to autorun a Powerpoint presentation, use the "Package for CD" feature in Powerpoint. It will save the presentation, and a player for it, and autorun file for you. This way you're less likely to run into trouble with cross-system compatibility. Note that the first time you play a presentation on a computer, the player will show a license agreement before starting.
