Any custom nickname for a contact is ignored when a "Status changed" or "Nickname changed" message in the "information area" of the chat window is displayed. This is the area where the "user is typing" message is displayed.

Steps to reproduce:
- Open a chat with a contact.
- Set a custom nick for him/her, using Contact List, rightclick the contact, "Add nickname".
- Tell him/her to change his/her status, and watch the info area of your chat window.
