No need for Resource Hacker,just go to Msg Plus Live Icon -> Preferences -> Customize ->Skins and click "
Extract resources" .
Then just go to My Documents\Resources for Messenger 8.5.xx (depends of the version of wlm that you have,and find it)
And you would know this if you have read the MSg Plus Skinning Guide
