What anti-virus and OS do you have?

Maybe something with boot-time scanning would stop this like Avast! or Pc-Cillin (if you have 32 bit Vista OS with Trend OS Protection (BETA)

If worst comes to worst you might have to do a reformat.

Just an idea do you know what file ad-aware gets up to when you get a BSOD?

If only I knew what I should put here
