Do you know how to do that? As im currently in my Windows Boot (And cant get out of it right now, converting lots of movies ). I think you can into Groups and Users. Open up the user "root". And allow it to be logonable.
Once you have done that, logout of your current user. And then type root as username. And whatever password you specfied to log in as root.
Then try and do it
without reeading any of the other posts, there's no such thing as root. its just another username with all privelidges instead. that why you do "sudo" when needed.
